Agoge Solutions is run by NASM certified personal trainer Natalie Boles. Our programs provide a unique combination of advantages both on location and at home. The online interactive Members Area provides access to your personalized fitness routine and diet plan, workout and nutrition tracking, live chat with other members, and direct message capability with your trainer…all through the website or app!
We will walk you through making sense of your health and wellness, while teaching you a set of skills to use the rest of your life! Long term solutions are suggested through education on nutrition, fitness, preventative health, proper portion sizes, whole food recipes, and great tasting healthy alternatives to most favorite foods. Our Food Inspired Transformation (FIT) Meal Plans will introduce you to delicious foods that can accelerate your goals, instead of simply counting calories or eating things that don't taste good.
Agoge Solutions was originally founded in 2013, and successfully relocated to Southern California on February 1, 2020. We now provide health consultations and personal training sessions at our San Diego office, your residence, your vacation home, outdoors, through video conference, and by telephone. Your certified personal trainer will develop an at home workout program focused on your specific goals that combines a nutritious daily meal plan with fitness routine, stress management techniques, access to chat and library of on-demand workouts, and wide variety of online tools to help you keep moving forward.
With our Five-Pronged Approach: hydration, nutrition, fitness, stress management, and sleep: we get to the root of the problem and create a step-by-step plan for lasting lifestyle changes. We are equipped with extensive knowledge in nutrition, personal training, health coaching, and preventive health care. Drawing on these skills and knowledge of different dietary theories, we will help you create a personalized “road map to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

We practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that we look at how all areas of your life are connected. Does stress at your job or in your relationship contribute to your eating habits? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising? Does your daily menu provide enough of the vitamins and nutrients your body desperately needs, or are you chronically malnourished? HOW WE GOT STARTED…
Natalie Boles had been in the Health & Fitness Industry for most of her life and helped people reach their goal weight as a personal trainer and nutrition consultant for over 30 years. However, as a military wife and emotional eater, she turned to processed foods and fast food for comfort each time her husband deployed overseas. During one of his extended deployments, her consistent bad habits led to a 40-pound weight gain and chronic digestive disease named GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease).
All it took was making a few changes to her diet for the weight and GERD to disappear. She was amazed that certain foods could cure her symptoms faster and more efficiently than prescription medications and wanted to learn more. She attended an 18-month certification course with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, learning over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. Her teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
After multiple deployments overseas, her husband was eventually diagnosed with TBI (traumatic brain injury) and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). He had an uphill battle both medically and mentally, had countless procedures, and underwent multiple surgeries: to include an eight-hour brain surgery (craniotomy and cervical laminectomy). Because there were so many complications early on, she went through the Department of Veterans Affairs National Veteran Caregiver Training Program to get certified and help him at home. After several years and successful rehabilitation, they made it their life's mission to pay it forward and in 2013 were able to open a small health and wellness office with teaching kitchen in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Soon after, her 83-year-old grandmother was released directly from the hospital into her care. She arrived with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, low iron, pain, and several other health issues. She was also wheelchair dependent, severely overweight, unable to sleep without pills, and had been a Type 2 Diabetic for decades. We immediately removed milk, butter, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, bread, soda, and processed sugars from her daily diet; and added in lots of organic leafy greens, organic vegetables, organic fruit/nuts/berries, pasture-raised poultry and eggs, wild-caught fish, grass-fed beef, and water in their place. We not only worked on proper portion sizes and healthy alternatives to some of her favorite foods, but also created lots of yummy meals using real food instead of food-like-products. Within five weeks her health had significantly improved and she was able to go home! She had lost over 26lbs, reversed her type 2 diabetes, was able to stop taking multiple medications, and was walking with a walker. She is the reason our FIT Meal Plan was originally created ~thanks grandma!
